Frequently asked questions

Common questions about getting and uploading your credit reports.

The only official free source is AnnualCreditReport.com. Under federal law (the Fair Credit Reporting Act), you are entitled to a free report from all three bureaus.  Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion  at any time. Do not use any other site that charges a fee or requires a credit card.

You need all three. Each bureau maintains its own separate file, and different creditors report to different bureaus. Your dispute package is built from all three reports, so missing one means we cannot complete your letters for that bureau.

PDF is preferred because it preserves the full report with all pages intact. JPG or PNG images are also accepted if that is the only option available to you. Do not send screenshots — they often cut off important account details we need to build your letters accurately.

For best results, use reports pulled within the last 30 days. Older reports may not reflect current account balances, statuses, or recent changes, which could affect the accuracy of your dispute letters. If your reports are more than 30 days old, we recommend pulling fresh ones before uploading.

Yes. Your reports go into a secure, access-restricted storage folder — not a public location. Only the admin assigned to your case can access your files. We do not share your data with any third party, and your files are deleted within 90 days after your dispute package is delivered. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Once all three files are received, your case moves into the building stage. We review your reports, identify the accounts, and prepare your custom dispute letters. Your completed PDF package will be emailed to you within the turnaround window for your package — Standard and Premium within 5 business days, VIP with priority processing.

Send the full report, all pages included. We need the complete file to see all accounts, account numbers, creditor names, balances, and status codes. Partial reports will delay your package.
